Foundation is the most confusing of all the makeup products. Every detail matters and each of those details is very specific to the individual wearing it. The texture, ingredients, shade, undertone and packaging are all factors. I found that this foundation, although not perfect, did a fairly good job at matching my skin tone. I bought mine in Alabaster, originally, but ended up looking like a pumpkin. Sephora's lovely return policy saved the day and I was able to switch Alabaster for Linen. The color is a near perfect match and blends into my jaw and neck very nicely.
The finish is quite luminous and glowing. In fact, I'm a little uncomfortable with how dewy and moist my skin looks with this on so I generally set it with a little MAC mineralize powder. However, for those of you that love the dewy, glowing skin look, this will be perfect.
As far as coverage, this is a medium low coverage foundation. If used with concealer, it'll work nicely. However, if you're like me and you can't afford both foundation and concealer, this may not be for you. If your skin is relatively clear, the coverage from this foundation shouldn't be a problem.
In terms of staying power, this foundation leaves much to be desired. Without a primer, this foundation is practically gone in a matter of hours.
In addition to buying a primer, you'll need a brush. The product is liquid and actually has lovely packaging. It's very sanitary. The formula itself is also very gentle and won't irritate skin.

Pros: The formula is gentle, non-irritating, won't break you out and is fairly moisturizing. It leaves you with a dewy, glowing finish. The packaging is simple, effective and sanitary. The price (27$) is reasonable for a high quality foundation. It comes in many colors and undertones. | Cons: This foundation isn't very high coverage. It really needs to be used with a concealer. You'll also need a primer and a foundation brush or sponge. The finish can look a little greasy. It's difficult to find your shade without trial and error and a salesperson's assistance. |
